You may have seen this “Request for an EIA Screening Opinion”, for a site off Hyde Lane, behind Hannans Copse. This would be a full solar farm and battery storage.
Such requests are submitted by developers to clarify if they need to do extra work before submitting their full application at a later date.
You may note (see drawings) that the developer has been drafting this since April 2025.

“provide a positive strategy for energy from these sources, that maximises the potential for suitable development, and their future re-powering and life extension, while ensuring that adverse impacts are addressed appropriately (including cumulative landscape and visual impacts)”
