Farnborough Airport

Farnborough Airport have submitted a planning application to amend a number of existing operational constraints it has placed upon it. They are proposing to:

  • Increase the Total air traffic movements (note that take off and landing are classed as 2 movements) from 50,000 to 70,000
  • Increase the weekend flying allowance to increase from 8,900 to 18,900, and
  • Change the weekend operating times from 0800-2000 to 0700-2100

Their reasons for the proposal are to meet increasing demand and safeguard the Airport’s long-term future and they will be holding a public consultation process to seek feedback on their proposals.

Our local MP Ranil Jayawardena, has asked to hear your concerns and thoughts on the proposals. To give your feedback, go to: www.ranil.uk/fboroairport and complete the online form
